Formed by the Hearn brothers and directly inspired by the 2tone movement, Strange Tenants were arguably the most politically driven of the first wave of Australian ska bands. Their motto was, “if you don’t stand for something, you stand for nothing”. Breaking up in 1986, they have reformed off and on over the years since.
